What is the PENJANA Initiative?

Over 800,000 Malaysians lost their jobs since May this year when the Covid-19 pandemic hit us. With the virus showing no signs of slowing down, this number is set to grow higher in the next coming months.

To help Malaysia get back on its feet, the government has acknowledged that skills training and generating new job opportunities is what the country needs to do. The PENJANA initiative was announced to help open more job opportunities for Malaysians.

To help achieve this goal, New Horizons Malaysia has been appointed by the Ministry of Human Resources to reskill and upskill Malaysians for better employability and job opportunities.
