1. What are the benefits of the CEH v12 certification?

2. What is the format of the CEH v12 exam?

The CEH v12 exam is divided into two parts:

Part 1: The CEH Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Exam known as the Certified Ethical Hacker (ANSI) and the CEH Practical Exam known as the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (Practical).

Part 2: CEH (MCQ Exam) has a time limit of 4 hours for 125 questions, while CEH (Practical) has a time limit of 6 hours for 20 practical challenges.

You will be awarded the title CEH Master if you pass both the Knowledge and Skills Exams.

3. What is the passing score for the CEH v12 exam?

The exam has a passing score of 70%.

4. Is this CEH v12 examination accredited?

Yes, CEH is accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board under ANSI ISO/IEC 17024 and the American Council on Education (ACE) under ACE ID ECCL-0002 as credit bearing and transferrable for three elective credits.

5. How long is the CEH v12 certification valid for?

Your CEH v12 certification is valid for three years after passing your certification exam. Following this period and renewal, the CEH certification is valid for another three years, so accreditation should be renewed every time it expires.

6. How to maintain EC-Council CEH v12 certification?

To maintain and recertify after three years, you must complete 120 hours of continuing professional education (CPE), submit a recertification application, and pay the associated fees.

7. Can I retake the CEH v12 exam if I fail?

Yes, you can retake the exam. However, you will have to pay the exam fee again.

8. How many times can I retake EC-Council CEH v12 exam?

A candidate may take a given exam no more than five times in a 12-month (1 year) period, and a 12-month waiting period will be imposed before attempting the exam for the sixth time (5th retake).

9. How do I schedule or book for my examination?
